A Gathering Of Ashes is a dark poetry collection about longing, loss, pain, love, and brokenness that coexist beside everyone. It explores universal themes found in the human experience.

A place where pain, pleasure, loss, and transformation coexist in a dance of everyday reckoning. I wrote this book of poems for all the souls who have passed through flames, yet risen in wholeness.

This collection is for those who have been burnt time and time again. Yet, reclaimed the essence of themselves by transforming their ashes into something meaningful and beautiful.

Falling Into Nothing

How can this be love?

I will not fall and lose myself

in an abyss of lies and deception

where only echoes of true love exist

I’ll stand rooted in the might of my being

for there are many lovers for every soul

and you are only one of them

I will not fall into a phantom of you

I will instead rise into the realness of myself

The In-betweener

They say it comes a time in a man’s life

when the fire of life will either consume him

or forge him into something better

with him coming out standing in his power

Yet, what happens when one lives in a state

where the fire equally consumes his soul

and strengthens him at the same time
